Industry standard for blowing pressure

Industry specifications for the application of air pressure in the blowing process

In the field of plastic container molding, the bottle blowing process is a key production process, and its air pressure parameters must meet the general technical requirements of the industry. The standard is mainly formulated around the following core elements:

  1. Basic pressure parameters
A stable air supply pressure needs to be maintained during the production process, usually within a certain range. This value setting needs to comprehensively consider raw material characteristics, mold design and finished product capacity requirements to ensure uniform thickness and complete shape of the bottle wall.

  2. Pressure stability control
It is required that the output pressure fluctuation of the air compressor does not exceed a certain ratio of positive and negative to avoid deformation defects or uneven wall thickness of the bottle body caused by sudden changes in pressure. It is suggested that multistage pressure stabilizing device be adopted to realize continuous gas supply.

  3. security protection mechanism
The equipment shall be equipped with double pressure protection device. When the actual pressure exceeds the safety threshold, the system shall automatically start the pressure relief procedure and issue a warning. Operators need to regularly verify the accuracy of pressure sensors to ensure the reliability of monitoring data.

  4. Equipment maintenance specifications
It is recommended to establish a periodic testing system to conduct pressure testing and tightness inspection of air compressors, air tanks, and pipeline systems. The filter element replacement cycle should match the production intensity to prevent impurities from affecting air pressure stability.

This standard aims to ensure the finished product pass rate and production safety of the bottle blowing process through standardized pressure management, and is suitable for the forming and processing scenarios of various thermoplastic containers. Relevant enterprises should formulate specific operating procedures within the framework of industry general standards based on the performance of their own equipment.
