Oil-free screw air compressor maintenance

Technical specifications for the maintenance of oil-free screw air compressors

In order to ensure the operating efficiency and equipment life of oilless screw air compressors, the following maintenance procedures are formulated based on industry general technical standards:

1. Daily operation monitoring

  1. pre-startup check
  • Confirm that there is no abnormality in the appearance of the equipment and that the sealing properties of each connection part are good
  • Check whether the cooling system water level/air volume is normal
  • Verify that the parameters displayed on the control panel match the actual working conditions
  1. In-operation observation
  • Monitor the operating sound of the equipment, and stop the machine for maintenance if abnormal friction or vibration is found
  • Regularly record the exhaust temperature to ensure that the equipment design limit value is not exceeded
  • Check whether the drainage device automatically removes condensate water

2. Regular maintenance operations

  1. Filtration system maintenance
  • Clean the primary air filter weekly and replace the high-efficiency air filter monthly
  • Clean the oil-water separator quarterly (if configured)
  1. cooling system maintenance
  • Use a soft brush to clean the surface of the radiator every six months
  • Inspect the insulation performance of cooling fan motor every year
  1. Inspection of transmission components
  • Check the meshing clearance of the synchronous gear every 2000 operating hours
  • Regularly verify the linearity of the pressure sensor
  1. Electrical system maintenance
  • Tighten the control cabinet wiring terminals quarterly
  • Inspect the heat dissipation performance of the inverter every year

3. Adaptation to special environments
High temperature and high humidity conditions need to shorten the filter element replacement cycle, and a pre-filtration device should be installed in dusty environments. During long-term shutdown and restart, manual turning must be carried out for more than three weeks before power can be operated.

This specification is applicable to routine maintenance operations of oilless screw air compressors. The specific implementation shall be carried out by maintenance personnel with relevant knowledge in conjunction with the requirements of the equipment operating manual.

How appropriate is the air compressor operating frequency

The operating frequency of the air compressor needs to be comprehensively set based on the type of equipment, combined with environmental temperature and humidity, fluctuations in gas consumption and manufacturer specifications. It is recommended to control the frequency converter at 30 to 60Hz, and the frequency converter strictly follows 50/60Hz, and regularly monitors parameters to ensure energy efficiency and stability.
