How to treat the air for testing without oil and water
Oil-free and water-free treatment of test air is the core link to ensure the accuracy of precision experimental data and equipment reliability. It needs to be achieved through a combination of source control and post-treatment technology:
1. No oil compression at the source
Water-lubricated single screw compression technology is adopted, and pure water is used instead of traditional lubricating oil to complete rotor sealing and cooling functions. This design eliminates the risk of oil pollution from the source of compression, and the oil content of the output gas can be stably controlled at the lower limit of the resolution of the testing instrument (usually ≤0.001mg/m³), fully meeting the strict requirements of the laboratory for oil-free air.
2. Advanced moisture treatment process
Moisture in compressed air needs to be removed through a multi-stage treatment system:
- primary cooling: The compressed high-temperature gas is first cooled through a heat exchanger, allowing a large amount of water vapor to condense into liquid water, which is discharged through an automatic drain valve.
- drying device: Use adsorption dryers (such as molecular sieve materials) or freezing dryers to further reduce the gas dew point temperature. The adsorption dryer can reduce the dew point below-40℃, effectively avoiding the formation of condensate on the inner wall of the pipeline.
- precision filtration: Equipped with a high-efficiency oil-water separator and dust filter to capture residual tiny water droplets and solid particles to ensure that gas dryness and cleanliness meet the standards simultaneously.
3. system design optimization
- The pipe material is made of stainless steel or aluminum-magnesium alloy to avoid secondary pollution caused by corrosion.
- Pressure dew point monitoring sensors are installed at key nodes to provide real-time feedback on gas drying status.
- A sterile filter (such as a medical grade HEPA filter element) is equipped at the end to meet the special requirements for air cleanliness in biological experiments.
Application advantages of Granklin water-lubricated single screw compressor
Relying on the precise meshing technology of single screw and star wheel, combined with the natural heat-absorbing characteristics of water lubricating media, oil-free compression can be achieved while reducing the exhaust temperature and reducing the load on post-treatment equipment. Its compact design and intelligent control system can automatically adjust operating parameters to ensure that the test air continues and stably reaches the “zero oil content, ultra-low dew point” standard, providing reliable aerodynamic guarantee for precision experiments.
