Should we stop the freeze dryer or the air compressor first?
During the shutdown operation of the compressed air system, the following sequence should be followed:Stop the air compressor first, wait until it is completely shut down, and then turn off the freezing dryer。
following reasons：
- air compressorIt is the source of compressed air. After stopping operation, no new compressed air will be produced in the system.
- refrigerated dryerWater in compressed air needs to be continuously treated. If the dryer is turned off first, residual compressed air may condense in the pipes because it is not completely dehumidified, causing the risk of corrosion or clogging.
- After the air compressor is stopped, let the freeze dryer continue to run for a period of time (usually 5-10 minutes) to ensure that the remaining compressed air in the system is fully dried, and then turn off the dryer to complete the shutdown process.
