How often should the air compressor be maintained correctly?
The maintenance cycle of Granklin’s water-lubricated single-screw air compressor needs to be comprehensively determined based on the operating status of the equipment and the operating environment to ensure its long-term stable operation. In daily use, it is recommended to adopt a combination of “daily inspection + regular in-depth maintenance”:
daily inspection: Carry out a simple inspection on the appearance, connecting parts, cooling system, etc. of the equipment every day before starting up to confirm that there are no abnormal leaks, looseness or abnormal noises; focus on checking the waterway system (such as water quality cleanliness, water pipe patency) and core components (such as screws, star wheels) every month for signs of wear, and promptly clean up impurities that may affect operation.
Regular in-depth maintenance: It is generally recommended to carry out comprehensive maintenance every 2,000 – 4,000 hours of operation (specifically based on actual load and environmental adjustment), including replacing vulnerable parts (such as seals), checking the fit clearance between star wheel plates and screws, supplementing or adjusting water lubricating media, etc. If the equipment is under high dust, high humidity or frequent start-up and shutdown conditions for a long time, the maintenance interval can be appropriately shortened.
Through regular preventive maintenance, the risk of equipment failure can be effectively reduced, the service life of core components can be extended, and the stability and efficiency of compressed air supply can be ensured.
