What is the standard air pressure in the workshop?

The air supply pressure of the air compressor in the workshop is usually set based on equipment requirements,The standard range is between 0.6 and 0.8 MPa (i.e. 6 to 8 bar)。This value can meet the normal operation requirements of most pneumatic tools, robotic arms and control systems. It can not only ensure the stability of power output, but also avoid energy waste or equipment loss caused by excessive pressure.

In specific applications, adjustments need to be made according to actual working conditions:

  • High gas-consuming equipment(e.g. spraying equipment, large cylinders) may need to be raised to 1.0 to 1.2 MPa (10 to 12 bar);
  • precision instruments(such as pneumatic sensors, small fixtures) need to be reduced to 0.4 to 0.5 MPa (4 to 5 bar).

Air pressure adjustment needs to be carried out through the air compressorpressure switchorpressure regulating valveImplement and verify regularly to ensure stable output. If there are various types of equipment in the workshop, it is recommended to supply air in different areas or install secondary pressure regulating devices to take into account the pressure requirements of different equipment.

Is there an explosion-proof air compressor?

Air compressor is explosion-proof. The explosion risk of air compressors mainly comes from two aspects: one is the carbon deposits in the air compressor oil, and the other is the compressed air itself. To prevent these explosion accidents, air compressors usually adopt explosion-proof designs. Explosion-proof air compressors realize explosion-proof functions through the following methods: Explosion-proof […]

Does the oil-free air compressor need drainage?

The oil-free air compressor also needs to be drained. The working principle of an oil-free air compressor is mainly to compress the inhaled air through mechanical components such as pistons, screws or turbines, and then output it as high-pressure gas. During this process, since the air itself contains water molecules (especially in humid and rainy […]
