Will the screw air compressor automatically stop when it reaches the pressure?

Yes, when the pressure of the screw air compressor reaches the set upper limit, it will automatically shut down.

The automatic start-stop function of screw air compressors is usually monitored and controlled through pressure sensors. When the pressure of the air compressor reaches the set upper limit value, the pressure sensor will send a signal to the control system. After the control system receives the signal, it will control the air compressor to automatically stop the machine to avoid the pressure continuing to rise. Similarly, when the pressure of the air compressor drops to the set lower limit value, the pressure sensor will send a signal to the control system. After the control system receives the signal, it will control the air compressor to automatically start to restore the air supply.

In addition, there are usually two ways to adjust the pressure of screw air compressors:

  1. Air compressor pressure adjustment:

    • Rotate the pressure adjustment screw clockwise, and the closing and disconnecting pressures increase synchronously.
    • Rolle the pressure adjustment screws counterclockwise, and reduce the closing and disconnection pressures simultaneously.
  2. Pressure Differential Adjustment:

    • Rotate the pressure differential adjustment screw clockwise, the closing pressure remains unchanged, and the breaking pressure increases.
    • Rotate the pressure difference adjustment screw counterclockwise, the closing pressure remains unchanged, and the breaking pressure is reduced.

By adjusting these parameters, precise control of the automatic start-stop function of the screw air compressor can be achieved to meet different usage needs.

It should be noted that although the automatic start-stop function of the screw air compressor can improve the operating efficiency and service life of the equipment, it also requires regular inspection and maintenance during use to ensure the normal operation of the pressure sensor and control system. At the same time, if the air compressor is found to start and stop frequently or other abnormalities, it should be checked and eliminated in a timely manner to avoid damage to the equipment or affecting production.

How to classify oil-free, micro-oil and injection of air compressors

Air compressors can be divided into three categories: oil-free, micro-oil and oil-sprayed according to lubrication and compression methods. The main difference lies in whether oily medium is used during the compression process and the oil content. Granklin water-lubricated single-screw air compressor is an oil-free type, replacing traditional oil with a water film…
